I would buy out of state at MSRP and gladly pay shipping or better yet enjoy the drive home on a new CTR. I refuse to pay California dealers a mark-up or for accessories I never wanted. It all comes down to choices, nothing against people who do pay it all.

Yeah 5K or once in a year is a good practice for oil Change I do get wheel alignment with it first oil change on my CTR was done at 4500 miles with oil life at 40% before the maintenance minders and synthetic oil it was 3K intervals never had any issues of low oil pressure lights

the adrenaline rush of owning S2K for the first time will be powerful. Instead of getting it shipped I would make a vacation out of it. Will line up fluid changes, new tires & alignment etc. route planning to include tail of the dragon. Enjoy scenic pit stops along the way…. discover driving...
