What did you do to your FL5 today?

I thought I posted it earlier, but I must be mistaken with some other parts. Lots of part numbers flying around. Anyhow, all items in the below graphic – with the exception of 3, 5 ,6, and 9 – in the quantities listed.

That first part looks like a package of something that looks like a bunch of staples. Are these designed to help secure the cover to the seat? The diagram doesn't show where these are supposed to be used. Regardless, I guess these would be useless without a "stapler" device, right? ?

Looks good! Happy you like them - the cloth seats looked so out of place. I couldn't be happier with mine, even though they are a bit more maintenance, and am glad others are doing the mod.

Installed OEM UK Spec alcantara shift boot to match the steering wheel. Not direct fit, very minor modification needed. But once installed, it's perfect.

I got all the parts here except for the pads. Some weren't used, but safe and cheap insurance. The staple are necessary as you'll see once you take the seats apart.

We are getting some random cold weather this weekend in the Midwest so I went ahead and threw my winter wheels and tires on. I definitely like how they look on the car and they stick out a little bit more.

Worked with WC Lathewerks to have a custom titanium knob ordered similar to the Voodoo knob I've used in my Miatas for the last 20 years. It will have this shape with the flare at the bottom sized for our OEM boot retainer in brushed titanium:

I've got all of the front speaker replacements ordered for an "OEM+" upgrade using 2ohm drivers from CDT Audio. Based on prior experience I expect it to be a noticeable improvement using the stock Bose electronics at a very moderate cost and low install effort. To get more you really need to start adding amps and the costs and install effort rapidly escalate.
