I've been eyeing the rear A/C add-on. Is this the one that you ordered? I see they added one for the FL5. Let us know how the install goes and how well it cools down the rear.
Yep, it's enroute to me so once it arrives I'll need to schedule some garage time with a friend (he has a/c in there) and I think I'll try and knock out: front lip, rear a/c, disable interior noise generator.

I will definitely update the forum on the results and feedback from my kid who currently flop sweats when he's back there (I've got added tints too).

Also wondering if removing the front bumper to install the lip makes sense.
The only thing I would be worried about is that the bumper cover is pretty flexible, so not having it attached to the car might make the lip significantly more difficult to install. Also, the lip will make the bumper cover more rigid, which could then make it more difficult to reattach the bumper/lip sub-assembly back on the car. Know what I mean?

It looks very clean! I too agree that tints are a very practical addition to the FL5 or any vehicle for that matter. Keeping the interior cooler (even more so when paired with visors to promote some airflow while the windows are cracked) and also a means of privacy for any personal belongings. I opted for a ceramic tint at a local shop with 5% all around and 35% on the windshield. The cops over here don't bother me about it all, thankfully.
I'm glad you can pursue what you want without government interference. Who needs them telling us what we need, right? Haha!

I Gave The car a nice Wash and detail today. Might clean the inside of the windows today. tint is cured now. Having a tool to clean the windows makes all the difference.

Interior noise maker: DISABLED.

Ah, so much better. I can finally use the R sound setting for Individual now.

Wasn't too hard, took me 30mins maybe? I was able to wedge the clip into its harness loop so there won't be any errant noises.

Good point @TypeRD

Haha for sure, I definitely agree! Though I have to say it helps when you know a few officers in the surrounding towns ;)

I used some cheaper duster with a handle, but this is way better, thanks!

The ceramic has been great, no complaints and I definitely feel the difference.

You have awesome content also, looking forward to seeing your journey! @s2ktypeR

Popped in a Tuxmat on the driver's side to get the proper protection needed IMO for the red carpet below the gas pedal and the lip to the right of the dead pedal. Leaving the other spots with the OEM All Weathers as they protect well enough and still let the red show.

I used a good number of the clips to fully secure the mat and it looks like the gas pedal just kisses it - but doesn't block full throttle. Clutch and brake have about a mile of room.

I did the same thing yesterday. I don't time it but it was 30 or less. I took my car for a spin during lunch. It is nice to actually enjoy R.

Really weird it isn't just optional.

Yeah, I don't get why the pumped in stuff doesn't have a toggle either. I also wonder who at Honda thought the sound they chose was good or even vaguely realistic?

I'm with you. It's an odd phenomenon but they're not alone. BMW, Ford, Acura, Honda, and others have been doing this for years. I've owned a few F80 M3s and they all had it, even the CS that stickered over $100K. Shocking that even one of the top trims still had synthetic engine noise. Why?! (rhetorical question)

I did this today as well. 20-25 minutes and that was with me tracking down some fabric tape to wrap the connector with. Didn't test it out yet but will do that in the morning.
