and as usual, Grok lied. specifically about the current voyage of the Hermes Leader, and corrected itself when I pointed it out:

If I recall correctly from when I was shopping, I've seen FL5s being unloaded at Vancouver (BC), Portland (OR), Richmond (San Francisco bay), Hueneme (Oxnard), Long Beach, with some making multiple stops
As far as I know, most (95%+) U.S market MY2025 FL5s are processed through Richmond, California. I do not see any evidence that FL5s are processed at Vancouver WA, Portland OR, Long Beach CA nor Hueneme CA.

Vancouver WA did receive 1600+ Subarus today so I’m willing to bet it was the same vessel as the FL5s.

Just out of curiosity, how are you able to figure out that the port of Vancouver received 1600+ Subarus? Lol

Sorry, I guess I was wrong.

I assumed that the ships shown below only contained Honda vehicles, and that at least some were unloaded at each port (otherwise why dock at the port?).

Looking at my sticker, the port of entry was indeed Richmond, even though I purchased it in Los Angeles (Airport Honda), another wrong assumption, as I assumed it was unloaded at Huaneme

That is crazy -- I thought I'd have one of the later MY25 cars with a high 5000 VIN and here we are 2000+ units past that.

Just a general question. How long does it usually take from the day it arrived at the port to the dealership? My dealership from the port is about a 35 minute drive. Assuming less than a week for processing and other stuff?

So production of MY25 FL5 is currently ranging from 8/2024-11/2025. That is a 15 month production run of the MY25 FL5. @roastduck correct me if I’m wrong please. Also, have you seen an extended production run like this of the CTR 2017-2024?

Maybe because of the new laws in Japan they are trying to build as many as they can under the model year 2025.
