Model Year 2025 Civic Type R FL5 Shipments from Japan

Model Year 2025 Type R's have indeed started production and the first shipment of 73 units is en route. ETA to U.S Port: Mid-End Aug 2024. ETA to Dealers is Unknown.

I had another thread tracking MY2024 units but I may not track MY2025 as closely. Though anyone is welcomed to reply or PM me specific inquiries.

No color changes? Seems like 2025 will be identical to previous model years if so. Maybe infotainment and minor updates.

I am surprised the Type R is still getting Sonic Gray. I thought they would switch over to Urban Gray. What else is crazy is that America isn't getting any red.

No exterior changes on 2025 Integra Type-S minus the Tiger Eye Pearl color discontinued and a slightly higher price.

SGP is a more ‘special’ looking grey than the UGP IMO. The green/purple flake pops in the sun vs the sliver/gold I see in UGP. Both look great.

Yep. With cars already shipping and no news about any physical updates, it seems there won’t be any…except possibly minor stuff like infotainment (like you said).

It will be the same as the 23/24. Maybe Google Assist like the Accord but nothing else besides more money $$$.

Im curious if it’s the last year for an ICE R like the previous Honda statements.
