WNSNTY / JSpec Performance FL5 (Spoon-ish)

After owning a couple of FK8’s, I was lucky enough to get my hands on an FL5.
Having worked with JSpec Performance on many builds previously, I knew they would be perfect to work with on this FL5 to make it special.

JSpec Performance is a well known shop here in the GTA area and they have many Time Attack championship wins to back up the expertise that they provide to their clientele that are looking for performance parts and accessories. Great shop and great group of guys to deal with.

Picked up with 2001 km’s (1243 mi) from Roadsport Honda in Toronto. Great dealer experience from start to finish. I was supposed to have a DE5 Type S as I didn’t want to pay crazy markup but the dealer, Markham Acura, wanted to play games instead (long story). So the experience at Roadsport was refreshing.

The previous owner decided to go way too dark with the tint, so straight to Markham Window Tint it went.

My friend @ap2amg had the nicest FL5 in the area, so I wanted to check his out.

The leather shift boot bothered me, so I installed an Alcantara version:

JSpec Performance helped me source a set of Spoon SW388’s. One of my all-time favourite wheels and I think the 18x9.5 +40 is perfect for FL5.

Love the RV6 components. I just got the camber arms delivered, waiting on my sway bar and will be getting the toe arms later on.

Those Ohlins coilovers, makes want to trade for a Type R ?
