Hey everyone! Just joined and happy to be here.

I just got my FL5 a couple months ago and I’m trying to settle on the best products for cleaning the interior…dash, screens, seats, door cards, etc.

I know that materials can be sensitive, so I’d love to hear what you all use for:

- Dashboard / trim
- Infotainment screen
- Seats

Any brands you swear by?

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to learning and contributing here.

I use sonax alcantara cleaner for the alcantara and suede, and microfiber towels alongside some distilled water for everything else. I'll occasionally use the sonax on the wheel, but ordered some chemical guys leather cleaner for it.

For the outside I hand wash with meguiars soap and detail with meguiars rinse less wash between washes and to get a waxy coating.

For the screen, I have a screen protector and just wipe it clean with a microfiber cloth. The rest of the dash I've been using Meguiar's Interior detailer, I spray a little on to a microfiber cloth and wipe the dash and trim.

The seats I have the Hyper Suede seat covers that are machine washable, but I use Jason Markk Suede cleaning kit for any spots that need a quick cleaning on them and any of the Alcantara panels.

For the leather steering wheel and shift boot I use Chemical Guys Leather Quick Detailer. I spray that on a microfiber cloth too and wipe.

I take one of my microfiber drying towels, soak it in hot water and then wring it out as much as I can, and spritz on just a little bit of automotive-grade (ammonia-free) window cleaner on the towel.

On a lot of interior surfaces, you're just trying to remove dust and odd bits of grime. A damp and thick microfiber towel will get it looking new again and won't burnish the surface. I don't like most interior cleaners as they can leave residue. Automotive grade window cleaners are just water and some sort of solvent (usually butoxyethanol) so it will dry residue-free and odor-free.

For the seats I have been liking Koch Chemie Pol Star. I tried Sonax as well but Pol Star is a lot more dilutable and I didn't really like how Sonax came out as a foam. I prefer to spray on and then foam up with a brush. Some people use it to clean all interior surfaces as well so it is more versatile. However, I will say I like the smell of Sonax a lot better.

I have a few interior cleaners; however, I rarely use them - Aerospace 303, GYEON Q²M Interior, Nextzett Cockpit. I find that I don't need to use chemicals on the interior as a matter of course. Only if there's an issue like a stain, smudge, or dirt then I'll consider using a cleaner.

To clean the interior I use an electric leaf blower to blow out dust and debris and use the vacuum for the carpet, mats, and seats. I also use a lint roller for the rear suede seats. Once every few months I'll wipe down the hard surfaces with a barely damp microfiber cloth. There's no need to clean the suede material in the door cards or center armrest because those items don't get touched.

I posted the below previously:

Car Shampoo: GTECHNIQ G Wash
Consumer Grade Ceramic Coating: GTECHNIQ Crystal Serum Light + EXOv5 + C2V3 = killer combination
Tire Dressing: I've used just about every tire dressing under the sun and the best one I've used is GYEON Tire Q². It's a SiO2-based solution that works incredibly well. For best results, I heat up the tire wall before and after application.
Wheel Cleaner: TUGA Devil Special Wheel Cleaner. This stuff is expensive but works like magic. It requires very little to no manual intervention, especially on a coated wheel. P&S Brake Buster Total Wheel Cleaner is a great runner up.
Interior Cleaner: GYEON Q²M Interior or Nextzett Cockpit Premium Interior and Dashboard Cleaner.
Leather: GYEON Q²M Leather Cleaner Strong + GYEON Q² Leathershield

I use Autoglym interior cleaner which is safe on Alcantara

I have only vacuumed the car twice in over two yrs because I use 4WD/Bush mats as pictured

stops water dirt and dust and super easy to keep clean

I also forgot to add I use this awesome blower to dry the car off after washing

it's dead set a weapon, it blows all the dust out from inside in matter of seconds

super powerful and very warm air 40c (100 + degree)

for exterior I use Autoglym UD Shampoo with a cheap ass snow cannon and top it off with 303 Graphene detailer

also get yourself a good tar remover (again I use Autoglym) to remove tar, tree sap and bird droppings

for plastics I use Plastix by Meguiars

I use Fast Glass by Autoglym for glass

for the AC I use Holts to keep the condenser mould and smell free (used it approx once a yr)

for wheels I use cheap $4-5 can stuff with a long handle brush...just let it soak for min 5 mins and it does a reasonable job

ENJOY YOUR RIDE 🤜🤛

p&s interior cleaner is my go-to typically for all cars, smells great as well.

i purchased carpro innerQD this time around, cuz they have a claim it prevents the static dust from clinging which i seem to have a problem with, so will be trying that out.

Armour Detail Pilot on dash, plastics and screens. Dries to a matte finish. Leaves no residue and smells great.

Sonax for the seats.

On glass I'll do a first pass with a diluted APC then a final pass with Stoner's or Sprayway.

I use two coats of Armor All to get the interior nice and shiny and I apply liberally to the passenger side floor mat so my grandma slips when she gets in and out.
