Has anyone fit 4 wheels and 4 tires (unmounted) in their FL5?
I have tires being delivered and now I'm wondering if it can all fit. No tires on the wheels - obviously 4 wheels with tires mounted will fit no problem.
In hindsight, I shouldve had the tires delivered to the tire shop 😅
Good luck. Where there’s a will there’s a way lol

You should be able to. The Sport Touring should have about the same dimensions. I was able to bring tires and unmounted wheels to the shop to get them mounted. Just gotta do a little Tetris.

Nope, I couldn't figure out that Tetris puzzle.
I did haul 6 wheels and 6 tires.... but it took me two trips.

10 trips to Home Depot to pick up stones to build a custom forced air induction smokeless Dakota hole style fire pit. Many more trips needed to pick up additional stones and concrete to complete the project.

Hauled even more stones…About 40% of the stones needed to complete the project have been placed. 42 rays of stones will extend outward 10 rows in a tan color forming an 18 foot circle. Outer rows 6-10 add an additional 42 rays of grey stones to help fill the gaps. 10th row of stones will add another 84 grey stones on the outside that will be mortared together to secure the outer ring. All gaps between the stones will be filled with a terra cotta light red color mortar.

Hope you’re worshipping the JDM gods when it’s all done.

More progress…Big job hauling small loads of hardscape material in a CTR. Added wall blocks on the outer perimeter. Three tons of stone and material transported and installed thus far with one more ton to go.

Last trip to Home Depot to pick up stones for my custom designed forced air induction fire pit project with an 18’ seating area..

Total stones transported in the CTR included:
  • Tan wall blocks (small): 442 x 8 =3,536 pounds
  • Gray wall blocks (small): 252 x 8 =2,016 pounds
  • Tan wall blocks (large): 56 x 20=1,120 pounds
  • Gray retaining wall blocks: 98 x 24 =2,352 pounds
Total stone weight transported = 9,024 pounds picked up in 300 pound increments. Concrete, paver base and mortar bags are messy and were transported in my truck. Here are a few PICs where all that is left is mortaring and filling the gaps between the rays of stone.

Light Costco run. It's my weekend to provide snacks for my daughter's soccer team so had to reup.

Final update...Approximately 7.5 tons of material was required for the project. The job took a few months to complete mostly working on the weekends. The CTR was used to transport a majority of the material in small loads over time.

With the fire pit completed, I also needed to build a firewood rack to store a cord of wood to burn. Truck was used to transport 12’ and 10’ pressure treated lumber to construct the rack.

I have used the fire pit a few times now. When using forced air induction, it functions like an incinerator hungry for more fuel.
