Finally the Infinity Design Intake and inlet pipe showed up!
Initial impressions.
-Quality is top notch
-the packaging is 100% above and beyond any other I’ve seen.
-increased turbo sounds over the Spoon filter and PRL couplings (both to be listed is absolutely insane.
-Butt Dyno is happy
-Delivering Smiles per gallon

My negatives
-No installation guide or instructions, ended up watching a video of a GruppeM install.
-I wish the inner part of the box had a more finished look but I also understand how hard that would be to achieve.

I would recommend this to anyone that is willing for this. I get that PRL is your best bet per Dollar. But I am also not thrilled by the fact of having a logo on every individual part.

Mugen license plate fasteners: the most performance-driven mod yet, ha! Also, Titanium bolts for the strut tower, and the PRL titanium inlet system. Fun stuff. This has all been a fun project for my 14 year old daughter and I. She loves it, learns a lot, and we have fun. I am grateful.

? Hey guys, I haven’t been on here in a minute! But recently I crossed over 15k miles and went for my 3rd oil change and first transmission fluid service.

I was beginning to hear a faint humming vibration noise during cold starts while making full lock left/right turns out the parking deck. The sound would go away after the 3rd or 4th turn and never come back unless the car sat for a while and was cold again. I suspected it was the lsd and read on several platforms about the same issue resolving after adding friction modifiers.

Well, glad to report that the new transmission fluids worked! Kinda irritated that we didn’t get to swap the fluid out sooner before the noise even started up but the service tech convinced us that it was too early and didn’t need to be done till 30k ?

Other than that, my FL5’s still going strong ? It’s nice to see and catch up on what everyone has done to their cars here, cheers!

I found an installation guide poking around on their main (e.g., non-USA) site. For the intake at least; not the inlet pipe. Seems pretty straightforward.
