Alright, I've joined the crew of "broke my AFD lip". I'm very careful about pulling into spots, yesterday I GENTLY nudged a curb... broke both sides of the lip, one side has a small chunk gone and the other has a major crack running through it. The plastic is just too rigid to survive any impact. Not sure what I will replace it with but this really pushes me to figure out a front bumper camera.

Installed center console bits wrapped in alcantara and a shift boot from Aaron Shin (@sweidit). high quality stuff, feels like an OEM+ upgrade for sure.

Amazing upgrade! Looking to do this next. I think I read somewhere that it was core + $,$$$ right and was the shift boot included with the purchase or is that overland?

that’s correct, you send your cores and pay for the upholstered parts. in this case, included was the top, side wings, above where the USB ports are, and the shift boot. ended up being $590.

so you’re not driving around without interior parts, you can send the core fee ($450) along with payment for upholstered parts that is then refunded to you when you ship your OEM parts back.

Sweet! While a bit fugly it is just what I'm looking for. Honestly, I just want the module, then you could pick a camera that could mount in the grille and be less obvious. I've messaged them about this, let's see what they say.

I also found a module or two that could do this potentially.

Thr big thing is with their canbus adapter it should allow for plug-in play to display it on the nav screen

somewhat convoluted but I bought those pieces from a for sale post on here. then the seller put Aaron, himself and me in a chat on facebook and we did the deal through messenger. i’d imagine he’d be quick to respond on any of those platforms, at least he was quick to get back to me on facebook.

Oil and brake fluid changed this afternoon. I looked at the front ball joints and rear camber arms and toe links. I'm not sure if I want to tackle swapping them out tonight. Although I've had the parts for months ?

decided to make the FL5 look a little more aggressive but still clean. For those wondering the fender vents ARE actually functional. There is actually a slot in the hood that heat can extract through via those vents. Although it’s not crazy effective as a vented hood, it still does the job. Additionally, I’m probably going to order some spare fender liners to cut up and use so that the air in the wheel well can also be extracted via those vents. But I like the progress so far that with this FL5 :)

Installed the Mishimoto Coolant Expansion tank via @albi. I also installed the PRL Intercooler, charge pipes and DeatschWerks 340lph.
