Hey everyone,
Today, I received my carbon fiber wing in the mail, and I was super excited to install it. The PDF instructions recommend using a torque wrench with a T-30 TORX bit. When I tried to do it myself, I couldn't get the screw to budge. I'm worried about stripping the bolt, so I'm considering calling Honda or my local car shop for a quote.
Do you have any suggestions?

Installed the PRL RMM and the MRT resonator delete pipe. Also disconnected the fake engine noise maker?.
I need to disconnect the active noise thing too. Did it in my Si no reason to keep it IMO.

How much of a PITA is the ASC module? Mine is far less aggressive, but I'd still prefer not to have it, and I am sure it leads to addtl. distortion (intermodulation, etc.) when you are listening to music or something.

You just pull the side panel on the passenger dash, then the glove box surround, and then the dash trim?

I know someone that still haven’t been able to remove at least one of the screws. It’s going to get stripped at this point. I suppose if we brought it in for service at the dealership they would replace it?!
I mean they could say owner is the one that screwed (no pun intended) it up.

I mean easy to drill out or I would try to use one of those screw out kits to get it out. How bad is your friends one? If there is still some thread can try to remove with a ruberband. But bringing it to a shop they will drill it out quickly (or can be done at home but I don't love to be under cars on ramps or jack stands for long

Don't be scared, T30 is a decent sized bolt should come out quickly and clean. Buy a nice T30 tool and try it, should not take too much torque to break it free, if it you feel its stuck don't force it too much, easy it does it. One of those things, give it a shot first and then if you see you not going anywhere take it somewhere. I bet you can get that thing swapped in 10 minutes.

I agree. One way to justify it is that it’s also a lock. Just about every car part now is expensive.

its so frustrating. Those screws are made out of cheese. I almost was gonna have to forego the oil change because of 1 of them. I mean I hate philips anything but considering 2 out of the 4 came out pretty easily I think the problem is someone at the factory went ham fisted on 2 of them.

Yes, that's correct. See this video:
