What scale size is that? .... I thought it was the real thing at first! o_O I think I'd remove both those resonators while you have it standing up like that.
??????
I just saw your resonators removal suggestion.
But it’s to late I already got it off the lift ??

Thanks! Those are incredible! I might have to do a white or a boost blue.... I mean, why not something different from what's already in the garage! :headbang:
Hex yeah Brother !

I like the boost blue to !!
I only got the white because the day I bought my SGP I was running back and fourth on the showroom floor to both as we were crunching numbers and I was still trying to decide to the very end lol

Bought it! I've wanted one since the FL5 launch, but I've held off until I could buy one for MSRP, or very close to it. I had a DE5 which I liked a lot, but not quite there for me. I think the DE5 looks great, but definitely HIGHLY prefer the FL5 in that department.

So, I traded the DE5 for an A91-CF edition Supra for a while, with the full intention of the Supra being a long-term car for me. The car was great fun, and has all the aftermarket support you could ever dream of, but I just couldn't get it dialed in for some reason. I've had a couple of M cars (M2 Comp and an X3M Comp), and felt the same about them - absolutely magnificent cars, but there's an intrinsic feel that the BMWs have, which I obviously just don't like.

Anyway, enough about that. The other day, I was idly looking at cars.com, and reached out to a couple of dealers. One of the semi-local dealers replied with an unbeatable quote - $3k more than anyone else was offering for the Supra, and the Type R for MSRP, with the only 'caveat' being that it has the carbon fiber spoiler mounted, and as such I'd have to pay for that. No problem at all, as I wanted one anyway!

Needless to say, I got the wife on board (not very happily, but such is life), and picked up the car today. Couldn't be happier!

Funny thing is, I've seen several people trade in the Type R for the Integra Type S, and, now that I'm in a Type R, I just don't understand it. It's definitely lacking a few creature comforts (i.e., heated seats and auto wipers), but I genuinely feel like it's the better car. The suspension on the Type S fell apart the second you put it into sport mode, and everyone said that sport mode on the Type S is equivalent to comfort mode on the Type R.... And I 100% disagree with that statement. Comfort mode on the Type R sits right between comfort and sport on the Type S, and it's honestly perfect. A bit more firm, but not firm enough to pogo all over a rough road. Absolutely nothing compared to, say, a Focus RS!

Anyway, I can spend all day comparing the nuances of the two, but in the end I am VERY happy with my decision, and excited that I finally got exactly what I wanted, for the right price.

And, some quick context for anyone else debating which car to buy, I'm in my mid-40's, a bit overweight (if I gained 10lbs, the seats would probably not be very comfortable), and I've owned probably 30 cars in my life. I've owned multiples of a few cars, especially the Subaru STI, of which I've owned at least one of every generation sold in the US. Only a couple of cars in my life have kept my attention for more than a year, and I think the Type R is going to be one of them, especially since my wife will probably kill me if I tell her I want a new car again anytime soon! :)

Had the tires mounted yesterday. Trying on these Potenza Race tires for track days. These are said to last longer than the RE but not as sticky so it would suit me for driving to and from the track.

Also giving Raceseng lug nuts a try. I didn’t want to use my Rays lug nuts because I’m weird. I see it as wearing Nike sneakers and wearing Adidas socks.

If I ever get to see the car in the sun, I’ll post pics! It’s been raining almost nonstop here for WEEKS. This upcoming week is looking much better, though!
Cool and congrats again !
