Alplus Areo Guards in Carbon fiber from @Two Step Performance arrived today Lightning fast and packaged with perfection ????
Easy install and looks great and very well made. Nice carbon fiber I hated to hide lol but Should do the trick protecting the doors and fenders.

Finished this up yesterday. Removed the 26 pound stock muffler system. Installed an 8 pound Flowmaster stainless chambered race muffler with a 3" in and (2) 2.5" outputs, and with two stainless Jones exhaust tips. I raised it up about 1" since the picture. I like the 2 even pipes over what Honda gave us plus the car runs stronger all out.. so I think it breaths better.

It's not very loud considering the two resonators are still inline but does have a nice tone and crackle at the shift points.

more pics of the exhaust??

Today, it is Intercooler guard and Horn upgrades! :headbang:

Well actually it was yesterday, but I removed the front bumper and added a layer of protection for the intercooler to hopefully gather gravel and bugs. The best thing I found is this nylon mesh that is a perfect fit and a good match to cover the entire front surface area and coarse enough allowing the intercooler to breath, yet fine enough to collect most debris before it gets embedded into the aluminum fins. (Small bugs will still find their way through).

While the front bumper was off, I removed those moped spec horns and installed some beefy American GM horns from a 69 Chevelle! It sounds a million times better. A and F notes are the ticket and are a nice match. Whenever I beep the horn now, people will be looking for a big American car in their mirror. :what:

I saw a huge train air horn for sale at a swap meet and was tempted, but they wanted $400 and it would have taken up too much space. And too, you have to ask yourself, is this thing in a tiny box from China really a train horn? I don't think so...

I'll post a few more pics whenever I get them developed.

The best pics are up above, it's installed now with the bottom cover in place. I'm working on a better 1 piece version of the S pipe into the muffler, when I get it done, I'll post it.

Got it a twin I bought another FL5 ?
When I bought my Sonic Grey Pearl the dealer also had a Championship White I wanted them both but ultimately chose the grey. Thanks to @Two Step Performance now I have both ??
Paudi Sure does some nice detail on this one?? Even has functional fender vents and hood vent.

What scale size is that? .... I thought it was the real thing at first! o_O I think I'd remove both those resonators while you have it standing up like that.

If it had better background I dont think you could tell lol. The detail is amazing the drivers seat I think moves up and back for more leg room to lol . The steering wheel turns the front wheels and it has shocks. It’s 1/18 scale ?? with carpet ?
