I looked around and I think the dash part itself might be around $800? I'd imagine labor to replace it would be pretty expensive and I'd be concerned with how much other stuff would get messed up in the proces. I might still get it quoted so I can at least think about it down the road.

I believe I found it, it’s not actually that expensive(under $500) but yeah it’s probably not the easiest thing to replace! Still, for this price I may try it! I just don’t know that I’m going to be able to let it go(what I did). Here’s a link:

I'm worried it'd be too intense to do myself but I'm gonna get a dealer quote and an indepent shop quote in the next week or so. I'll let you know what they say.

Thank you, I’d appreciate that! I’m sorry about your dash, it’s such a bad feeling! ??‍♂

You shoudn't need to touch that part of the dash to get the glovebox out where the module is hiding.

This. Just pop the grill and the box and the connector is underneath. I plan to do mine when warm weather returns.

when placing my pry tool under the grill it left marks in the material under it. I stopped before causing too much damage. I just leave the car in Individual with the fake engine noise off

I hate the fake sound and started do do the work to disconnect but stopped at the vent area because the dash seemed soft and it was already sketchy removing things to get access. Its like chasing rattles you scuff, nick, and break clips making things worse.

A good plan, it shocked me how easily it can be dinged/marked permanently

Looks pretty damaged from where they took off the passenger venting/grill
I also think it’s priced quite a bit more than a new one? Unless we identified the wrong part earlier in this thread.

Also not sure what the stains on the dash are. Doubt that will just "come off".

Ebay dash has multiple areas of damaged/dented vinyl so it’s pretty much ruined if you care at all about appearance.

Got a quote back from a good Honda shop here in Atlanta for $1400 for both parts and labor which, honestly, is way cheaper than I expected. This is assuming that part 77100-T20-A01ZA is all I need to replace.

Thanks for the update, that's not so bad really. Are you going to do it? My damage is like a 1 out of 10 compared to yours, but I still don't know if I can live with it. Thinking about it for myself, I'd be a little concerned that the replacement dash might pick up one or more nicks/dents in transit or even during installation. One careless move and its ruined all over again. But if it could be replaced with zero damage and I had a fresh start, I'd pay that.

My initial reaction is this is a high quote and perhaps it's the same Honda shop I'm thinking of. Based on the quote it seems they're charging about $1,000 in labor.
