Actually heaps of 23 Stock. Works a little differently in Australia. Dealers by law can not sell over RRP. There were over 50 cars available directly from Honda. 38 of those in white. Most 23 builds.

Black is nice but I could have bought a black one for sticker a few months ago when I bought my Sonic Grey Pearl. When I bought mine there was a Grey one listed online for 20,000 over lol . So I think it just depends on the dealers not so much the color .

Went to purchase a Type R yesterday at a dealer. They suggested I wait a month for the new type r release. They expected some changes that may be worth waiting for rather than get into the current available cars.

Any speculation about what these changes might be?

Unbelievable but true. Went through the whole process, showed me the available

Unbelievable but true. Salesman was a young kid, right into his cars. Went through the sales process, showed me the cars available from Honda (2 weeks delivery for any of them). 23 plated cars. Told me to wait a month. They said they expect M25 Type R to be announced in Oz in July. Said that Honda OZ will only announce if they have some stock. Yep may not be any changes.

They let me walk. I will be back though!

Rumored update is: 480 12V batteries linked together in series for a 5,750 volt electric motor generating 120,000 hp through a heavy duty CVT, but can only go 1/4 mile between charges. The car will weight 8,258 lbs but will have a stronger front bumper. Back seat will now be red. No more shock absorbers, just solid mounts to keep the springs from sagging. Type R stickers on the quarter panels.

In case Honda is reading this thread (and they might be) I'd like to see a few updates:

1. Throw in a limited slip rear wheel drive system if you have time, adjustable from 0 to 100%.
2. Raise the redline to 15,000 rpm with 600 hp and a sequential shift 6 speed with a strong clutch.
3. Revalve the Type R suspension closer to the Type S rates.
4. Set the tracking default to off and allow the end user to choose.
6. Add in Acura's color options as well and make more red cars.
7. 18" wheels with wider tires,, bigger brakes, in dash display, heads up display.
