I still have my '09 Si (original owner) and mostly drive it over the Fall and Winter months. Both cars are so different but very fun in their own way. Don't see myself parting says with my FG2, I'm currently restoring it back to its original glory, with a few OEM+ mods. I still very much prefer the sound of a free flowing VTEC motor, but appreciate the turbo noises and pop and bangs of the newer car.Everything you said makes complete sense to me. I went from an ‘09 FA5 (original owner for almost 14 years) to my FL5 in early 2023. It took me awhile to get used to the size of the FL5 too. It’s just so different. Do I miss my old car sometimes? Yes. Absolutely! That car was simple, VERY reliable, and fun. And for $23k I wasn’t worried about breaking anything. But every time I get into my FL5, I’m in love all over again…I especially love having some low end torque for the first time.![]()
Yeah. I would’ve kept my FA5, but don’t have room for it and I also don’t drive enough to have 2 manual vehicles taking up driveway space. We have two other vehicles for grocery getting, winter, and whatnot too. The bases are covered without going overboard.I still have my '09 Si (original owner) and mostly drive it over the Fall and Winter months. Both cars are so different but very fun in their own way.
