Since the tux mat covers the clutch area, does that mean that clutch will not go all the way down? Has anyone had issues with this

It’s not that the clutch pedal doesn’t go down all the way. It’s that at times, the very edge of your heel will catch a bit on the rubber part of the mat. Not all the time. Just sometimes.

Is it bad if your clutch pedal is hitting it?

It's not receiving any play until you have your foot nearly floored. It does seem it hitting but just a little stiff when flooring it.

I had the same issue and trimmed the offending piece off. If you undo the stitching , trim, and stich it back together, you can't really tell its been modified.

My clutch pedal would touch the mat and feel "sticky", didn't actually affect its use but the feeling was a turnoff for me.

I have never had this issue with my Tux Mats. Only thing I will say is that the mats have what you might describe as horizontal grooves which can catch your heel a bit from time to time. Now that I expect/anticipate this it isn't that big a deal.

I second this. Thought it was my shoes at first.

I've looked at the clutch pedal position indicator and it's at 100% pressed with the TuxMat in, so it doesn't limit the clutch pedal.
