thats gives me enough confidence to get this done. I do read the hob ones don't work great on cars (work better on lifted trucks), I am not sure why it would make a difference but sounds so much easier since wheel is off for adjustment (I assume can't get to the tie rod rod unless car is "up"?
Correct. Unless you have a pit in the garage or a lift with the wheels

New Time Attack Setup!!

TWS RS317 in 18x9.5 +46 wrapped in Maxxis VR2 265/35/18. Stoked how these came out.

VR2 rides pretty nice on the street, I’m impressed so far. Looking for my next PB, as soon as we get a pop up day!

I’ll be testing the VR2 against the CRS V2 and A052 — all 265/35/18 — and they will be on an SM-10RS in 18x9.5 +53 as soon as the season kicks off. Initial testing will be VR2 vs A052

I love your setup! I was telling the folks over at CSG that your current setup has convinced me to switch over to a 18 inch setup. I’m currently on the TWS RS317 19 inch setup which I purchased back when I had the FK8.

Do it!! They still have some stock :)

I really like the new RS339 too -- but I think I need some more low to pull that one off

never going to happen. depending on the track they are about 0.5 to 1+ second off pace.
Given by my PB is on 30 heat cycled SC3s...it's certainly possible in the short term :)...but they definitely won't keep pace with the rest.

Happy Honda Days fellow R owners. I am finally back from my journey around the East Coast and can't wait to buy more parts I won't install for at least a few more months ?

I'm thinking exhaust once I see how the 27won sounds. Im in no rush esp since it's winter. Then hopefully Rexpelagi sells me his springs and camber plates ?

I have a few days off so I may get out the vacuum and try to up my cleaning game for a change too. I'm not too proud of the build up on the mats. Maybe I'll clean the family van too while I'm at it but that's like bottom of the list it's a never ending battle ?

Also while I'm researching I'm hoping one of the many cooling mods being talked about amounts to any actual improvement. That would be a nice addition. But want to see actual data not just tossing money at the problem.

check out boost logic exhaust. It's super high quality. Extremely lightweight and sounds excellent.
