OEM BMW front lip goes on the same way
for what bmw?

M2 CS has nuts and bolts and brackets (which is the same they use on the m2 cs racing). Pretty sure m4 GTS also uses bolts and brackets specially cuz has the extension

Ok I had to dig into it and there are brackets that hold the lip in place just like the M2 CS.
Not sure why they want the tape there for. That said the Adro and a ton of other lips on the market don't have any brackets or bolts, they mount to the oem bolts and then use tape and self tappers which to me is insuficient

Brought the car back to try and break that 2:00 Buttonwillow barrier while still stock, but got held up in traffic on my best 2:00 lap ?

Still seriously impressed with the level of performance these cars can bring stock. Next up for me is a few choice suspension pieces, Hondata & wheels/tires!

Amazing car control!

Signed up for iracing again a few days ago and been playing with the new BMW M2 CSR and today the new track for the week is VIR! Too bad its just the North side course instead of the full course but at least I will know some of course decently by May.

iracing is alright, sometimes I feel like the tires are butter int his game, can't catch any oversteer ever, the grass is made of ice too but can be pretty fun and a good learning tool

I only play GT7, but heard the M2 is a bit tough on applying the brakes properly

I dunno why I am thinking of ball joint installation when its freezing otuside for the next 2 months.

But for the ones that installed the ball joints, I will be on middle setting. The toe is going to be mega fucked and the place I am going to take car for aligment is an hour and 15 min away, will I be ok or should I try to adjust toe slightly? A little tow is fine but from what I gather the toe is super off and I don't want to ruin a set of tires (but maybe its not bad enough that an hour driving will ruin the them)

You need to adjust it, mine was off by A LOT, especially for that long of a drive, fuh-get bout it

Just put something flat against the wheels 2 tape measures and get it within reason

cool, will have to do that then, definitely if it was 15 minutes I would not bother but closest place is 30 min and I don't know if I trust anyone in that town to do it so this place that was recommended is an hour and 15, I will get it within reason. They sell these toe plates on amazon, maybe I get some of those to make it easier since you can do it with the wheels off and plates go on the studs.

That would be ideal for sure. I have a set that rest against the wheels, it got it good enough to get me to the alignment shop.

the only hickup might be that my driveway is not really flat but probably fine for "good enough". I guess I could put the plate in stock form and then have them change the plate to the one with the middle setting. I will figure it out, I never adjusted toe so something new to learn and do.

You basically would have to do the entire install again, so that probably not worth it, unless you want them to install it there.

Adjusting toe is very easy. I never did it until a few months ago and was like this is not bad, and I got 'good enough' on a non-level driveway. Loosen one bolt turn tie rod and tighten back. Roll the car a little, Measure again. Rinse and repeat. If you got the hub ones, probably even easier.

thats gives me enough confidence to get this done. I do read the hob ones don't work great on cars (work better on lifted trucks), I am not sure why it would make a difference but sounds so much easier since wheel is off for adjustment (I assume can't get to the tie rod rod unless car is "up"?
