Great meeting you, had a ton of fun. Easy group to run with, hassle free. Also, our car take 12.78 gallons, how do I know? Ran out of gas in the driveway of a nearby gas station between sessions!

I was pleased with a 1:51:09 considering, would definitely run there again. I'd love to do it in a car I was willing to push harder because I'm pretty sure I could have flat footed turn 1 & 10 if I wasn't thinking "screwing this up will cost me $$$". I definitely struggled a bit with some lines, my ingrained habits aren't the best racing line :D

Also, I hate dudes with sticky rubber in front of me. I got a rock to the face on one lap!
I remember reading somewhere that the fuel guage is misleading because it calculates the fuel based off of the MPGs from the current trip on your odometer. So if you reset the trip when your on track it'll give you an accurate reading!

I wasn't able to test this last time I was on the track because reasons lol

I started looking at random things based on the IC thread - this looked interesting: AIRTEC Motorsport Turbo Radiator for Honda Civic FL5 Type R - AIRTEC Motorsport Maybe a little gimmicky? They also make an oil cooler, but not for US model FL5 with the different crash bar setup.
Interesting, but not sure if it would be compatible with any upgraded intercoolers unless there is some adjustability in the mounts. It seems to sit right behind the stock radiator and most upgraded radiators are thicker and protrude rearward more with their extra thickness.

I'd think so since my emergency fillup gave me 107 to empty at full :D Oh, the range!

6.9 mpgs on track lol.

My right knee still hurts from jamming it into the console trying to hold my position, now I get the guys swapping in full buckets for track time.

The fuel gauge takes forever to update, at least mine. I will park and shows that its almost full after a session. Come back and its close to half. I basically fill up after 2 track sessions regardless of what that thing says.

I've noticed this too. Go out with half tank - 2 laps later light is on. I just fill up ever other session regardless. Soo frustrating to lose half a session buying gas, and paying track prices.

and specially if there is no station on site and if the gas station is 20 minutes from the track.

I used to bring my own gas but my dumb idiot put it in the trunk and it fell over (don't ask I am a fucking moron) and started smelling gas, pulled over and my trunk was a gas swimming pool.

There went my fun track day, got the car towed home (I was 10 minutes from the track, middle of nowhere, 4 hours waiting for the tow truck), cleaned the car as best as I could (not the type R),basically took a month to get the smell out, had to replace a bunch of stuff too cuz just could not get the stench out. Horrible day/month

I got a good story out of it I guess lol.

This was on the way to lime rock. I pass by the place I stopped every time I go and just shake my head in embarrassment and sadness hahaha

I would have had a car-b-q and called it a day! Or sell it soon after - I would always smell gas every time I got in the car.

hahaha I got the smell out. I am an expert now lol, took a while and I took the whole back apart but it worked out. Trust me I am OCD as hell and I could not smell it. Gas evaporates so its better than a lot of things to be spilled. But like when I said the back was a pool LOL it was a pool. Was a BMW and the battery was out back and like a 3rd of the battery was submerged in fuel :D

Speaking of VIR, I am going to adjust my schedule with the assumption I can 1. move to yellow first step intermediate, and 2. be there Thursday night so I can be on track Fri-Sun.
