Does anyone have recommendations for a tool to set the EPB to maintenance mode? I’m debating something like the Autel MD806 Pro, or whether I should go for a tablet like the MX808 or Icon T7. I would prefer something that doesnt require a phone app.

I know there are work arounds by removing the motors or putting 12v on the motors, but I’d really like a tool that can help with diagnostics in the future. I have an inexpensive obd tool for clearing codes when the autoparts store refused to clear a misfire code on my 911 when I didnt get a coil pack plugged in properly after changing spark plugs. I also have the Volvo DICE tool for my wagon, which as been amazingly helpful and only set me back $80. Not sure if there is a Honda specific tool that is a must have.

When I had a Corvette a lot of the forum guys had luck with inexpensive android based OBD tools , especially the Launch Creador Elite. It was only around $120, and it allowed all the GM dealer specific functions like NPP valve relearns and transmission flushes, it was a great tool.

I saw they have a similar one for Honda: https://a.co/d/5yoBP2L , I wonder if they will work for the FL5 for the brake maintenance mode and running the fuel pump

I have the MK808BT and it has the option. It's also loaded with other options, like the ability to program keys. Mine paid for it self immediately with that option.

I bought the Autel MD806 pro and other than the initial setup with the updates that takes forever is good for the EPB.

Does anyone know if the OBD Fusion iOS app will work for this?

Nope. That was what I’ve been using (with Carista adapter). It doesnt have the bidirectional capability for the EPB.

Thanks, I have the VEEPEAK OBDCheck BLE+ adapter and have been using Car Scanner app just for reading and clearing codes. I was hoping to get an app with more functionality.
