As a flagger and a track driver, I LOL'd. Was at the Glen once and got unexpectedly stopped at end of session by the pit marshal. He explained I was one of several cars reported by the flagger at the exit of the Toe of the Boot for giving him the finger. We had to explain there was a group of us who gave "spicy" point by's to each other using our middle finger, and that the flagger was not the target of any of it. Pit marshal laughed and sent me on in to paddock. So... seems appropriate!
Sounds like you need a Point by patrol black flag limited edition t-shirt.

I have a few things in the works to further fortify the engine and increase the overall reliability of the car for some fairly heavy duty tracking. The turbo and fuel system combined are the biggest restrictions that we have. I'm looking to increase power output modestly, increase overall reliability, and further reduce restrictions that result in poor heat management! Stay tuned!

Super exciting news, and of course several pictures, and videos of me cussing and throwing tools across my garage in the coming weeks! I just placed my order with @Two Step Performance for some major performance and reliability upgrades!

On the way we have:
4Piston Forged Short Block
625+ Extreme Duty Head Studs
Ferrea Valve Spring Kit
Two Step XDI + 1400cc Injector kit that they offer
27won Kuro turbocharger
Two Step Titanium stud kit

In all seriousness we should be replacing these studs on a brand new engine before too many heat cycles and weather exposure. Especially if you know that you have future plans to make upgrades to either your turbo or downpipe!

Wow, you're going all in. I see you added valvetrain. Do you plan to add 4 Piston Racing's camshafts as well?

I'm holding off on the camshafts for now. I know that all of this seems a bit extreme, but my preference is to have a setup that has a lot of headroom, and then purposefully run about half the power output of what it's capable of. So 4piston has used these blocks in one of their 850hp cars. I plan to aim for about 400-425. Another big benefit here is that I'll have a spare block laying around should something happen.

Replaced these R5's in the rear today. The inside pads were shot. Put on a fresh set for the track next weekend. The R5's seem to hold up well on the track, as these rear pads made it through 3-4 events and a few thousand miles of street duty!

You're referring to the TSP DP stud kit? Or the head studs?

Looking forward to your vids on this!
