Anyone have an idea of what this noise is and if it’s normal? I first noticed it when driving and couldn’t pinpoint where it was coming from. General area is driver front, and usually the loudest when going over bumps. I found a way to mimic by moving the steering wheel left to right. Thanks in advance

Have you gotten under the car and checked things yet?

Tie rods
Caster arms
LBJ
Strut mounts and strut bolts on knuckle
Axle
Subframe
Etc

Did you happen to hit anything or run over something? When and how did you notice the noise?

Here is mine, hope it helps you point yours too, but mine does the same and I had my steering rack replaced by the dealer. I have the same noise as you and this one on the video where turning expose is radically showing. I’m completely stock; my hunch is a CV axle, but I’m waiting on the oil and the Acity coolant lines to check also. I’m scattering the internet for torque specs on the K frame and all that, but I can’t find it even on Mitchell DIY. I will be re-torquing everything to also double-check the job of the incompetent Honda technicians.

I hit a gnarly speed bump the size of a softball that bent a wheel. The noise started happening after that.

I'm not super wrench savvy so I haven't been able to check on my own. I have an appointment in 2 weeks to have it checked out by a suspension shop.

Dang, that sucks man. Sounds just like my problem. When did your noise start happening? Thanks for the diagram, i'll pass this along to the shop that's going to take a look.

Would you happen to have the torque specs on the parts shown in the diagram? I might try tightening these on my own this weekend. Thanks in advance.

Probably around may this year and has been coming and going ever since. I’m looking but I can’t find anything if I find them I definitely post them here.

Maybe a fix? I just got under the car and found that both outer tie end rod jam nuts were loose.. maybe they weren’t tightened down after my last alignment.. I don’t hear anything for now but I’ll report back after some more driving tomorrow. Maybe this will help your clunking as well.

Heard this for the first time this morning, sounds like there's play in some part (or maybe the cold weather or a bump loosened something). I suspect it might be related to the weather, but I'll wait it out to see how this goes.

Maybe next time the car is on a lift I'll inspect torque as well but I've a hit a bump/pothole maybe once or twice in my cars life and this came after not going over any. My old 24 civic sport had the same issue when the weather would get cold too

Mine is pretty silent going over bumps or during turns, but when I twist the steering wheel while still it'll make the noise. I think I was able to replicate it going over a bump, but not sure.

After removing my strut bar, several of the previously present noises have ceased. While I am uncertain if this was the cause of those noises, I am still attempting to replicate the axle noise. However, I have been unable to find a suitable method to achieve this. Additionally, a user in this forum shared a thread from the Integra forum that suggested applying a piece of felt cloth tape to the side where the airbag makes contact with the steering wheel. I am unsure if this modification will also be effective but I try it anyway.

Do you have the Integra forum link?

I asked chatgpt to analyze the noise and it gave me this rundown - long story short, it's just a noise thing (is what it thinks).

I then asked it if it was necessary to fix if it's #1 and it said

Also looked around on Reddit and saw this post saying it's normal:

I did a little more sleuthing online and it looks like (depending on your symptoms), this could very well be mundane.
