Maybe a fix? I just got under the car and found that both outer tie end rod jam nuts were loose.. maybe they weren’t tightened down after my last alignment.. I don’t hear anything for now but I’ll report back after some more driving tomorrow. Maybe this will help your clunking as well.

I hit a gnarly speed bump the size of a softball that bent a wheel. The noise started happening after that. I'm not super wrench savvy so I haven't been able to check on my own. I have an appointment in 2 weeks to have it checked out by a suspension shop.

i Frankensteined the FL5 mirror base and the home link mirror. I have photos somewhere in this thread. Fits extremely tight now.

I think it's really just luck? Many ppl say they have no problems with the mirror staying on tight, but mines would not stay on no matter what I tried.
