Any shipment updates?
The latest shipment allocations from Tuesday night on MotoringObsession shows an additional 23 incoming from Japan. Looks like the 2025 production count on the highest vin is up to 8,324.

There are a total of 1,110 in shipping or on dealer lots...a great time to buy at MSRP with this volume of inventory indeed

Thanks roastduck. Looks like there will be another shipment of 500 coming to fill in the gap to vin #9379. Will we hit 10k Vin for 25' but it seems odd to make a 25' car in 2026 lol

They still haven't registered the 26' VIN and if they do today, it usually needs to wait 3 months so we will see the car in April. It's still possible but seems less likely than a 25' final edition announcement at this point imo.

So why is Acura has the 2026 Integra Type S on sale now at dealers and nothing on the Type R for model year 2026? Is Honda holding out on something on the Type R just just playing with us.

That’s the big question we all have. IMO is that they will sunset the car soon. I still have hope that we will get a final edition, but even if we get one it will be in extremely limited numbers. If you want a Type R, I would say buy one now.

I got mine this past Jan and it stays with me.
Amen! I’m on my second FL5. Most recently purchased in September of this year. Never selling this thing. God willing

Most common speculation is Japan needs to stop selling or making FL5 by spring 26 due to a Japan noise regulations taking effect and FL5 worldwide are all made in Japan.

ITS is made in USA so it doesn't restrict by that and Honda has sold it as 26' since summer seems to match this speculation so far.

I'd be extremely surprised if Honda doesn't launch a final edition if they are indeed ending FL5. The did it with FK8 and FL5 in Europe. I don't see a reason why they don't take that money opportunity and also as a celebration for this iconic car. It might just be color change or accessory variations similar to the Europe ultimate edition. Again all imo and speculation.

Exactly this. Remember the type R sounds like a vacuum cleaner bc its a world car and has to pass sound compliance world wide.

At this point just keep hunting and buy the color you want.
