I'll spare the name. But the shop is located in Tacoma, WA. I brought my FL5 there because of my good experience with this tuner in the past. I had him tune my 99 Prelude, which had a fully built turbo H22. It ran like a top and I never had an issue. I must have put over 60k miles on that thing before I had to sell it. The H22 was actually built and tuned originally by SpeedFactoy Racing, who are also located in Tacoma. They have since stopped tuning all together and focus on fab and racing from what I have gathered.Maybe you can share where you first got your tune so others won’t fall victim to sh1tty tuners. Based on what Jester shared with data, the tuner either didn’t know what s/he was doing or just didn’t care. Either way, it’s not good for the car nor the community.
I didn't ask for anyting special or agressive, just a healthy and reliable tune well within the capabilities of my current mod setup, which is FBO w/ the RV6 660 and stock fuel on 92 oct. The datalogs Jester posted above are the result of a lenghty dyno day that was only able to make 336whp/tq. This particual tuner sees Hondas/Acuras multiple times a day. He has even tuned several FK8's. I was the first FL5. He thought I might have a defective HPFP but wasn't sure. I babied the car over an hour home and parked it. Thats when I started looking into getting an E tune from a reputable tuner who knew thier stuff about FL5's.
