I'd like to add my 2 cents here for @Jester04 and how incredible he is to work with.

After searching around on this forum and seeing the overwhelming recommendations, I messaged him hoping for help with a failed custom dyno tune done to my FL5. He quickly responded and worked with me for several days to get a base map put together, making the car healthy (better than healthy) to drive again. Honestly, I had no idea what I was going to do. I don't know of any local tuners I can trust. If it weren't for Jester, the car would still be parked. Now, on top of my original mods, I intend to upgrade the fuel system and get a full blown Jester tune!

Thank you @Jester04 for your remarkable generosity!

I've got a good friend and customer in Illinois currently sourcing his parts from me, and getting tuned with Jester. He's quite happy :)

He got FBO parts over the summer, and just this past month has added Hondata CANFlex and 1530cc Injectors, as well as the Full-Race HPFP.

Should be well into the 400's, that car's just pleading for a big turbo now to make 500+

Car is moving! I can’t wait for the bigger turbo to see what it can do. It has been hurting a lot of big cars feelings lately.?

This is just to give a clear picture of the issues his car was having after a dyno tune by one of his local tuners. I gave him some recommendations on mods to do fuel system wise.

And after a quick basemap to determine the limitations of his fuel system on a RV6 turbo.

If you get a tune make sure it is from someone that knows what they are doing. It would be extremely frustrating for you to spend your good hard earned money to have your engine at risk like his car had. Maxed out fuel pump, fuel trims sky high, and injectors well over their limit.

Maybe you can share where you first got your tune so others won’t fall victim to sh1tty tuners. Based on what Jester shared with data, the tuner either didn’t know what s/he was doing or just didn’t care. Either way, it’s not good for the car nor the community.

I don’t post that stuff since I’m not in this to knock on other people. Just stick to what has been proven regarding tuners. You guys already have a ton of good options.

Sometimes the tuner is doing what the customer is asking. I've seen plenty of guys with substandard builds asking for more than what the tuner is recommending. We don't have the full story to make a judgment.

haha this was my challenge too!
This is happening to me in second gear, all the way to red line. Have yet to try third gear and have to install my hasport rmm.

There might be some validity to that but part me says it’s hard to believe a customer would ask to strain their motor so it can blow faster.

I'm on the 27Won RMM, and 2nd gear also spins. I'm not sure if its my tires - running Conti extreme contact force not exactly made for pulls on the street IMO.

Have you never seen a tuner refuse or turn a customer away for asking to go beyond the set up capacity?
I was just on fk8td live last week and a customer was aiming to blow up his transmission just so he can get ppg gears.
