More power is great but not what I care about - I'm more interested in ancillaries like has rev hang been removed?

I'm not familiar with this software, can it make changes to VSA (ie, OFF)? Outside of engine tuning is anything exposed?

Available now from any Hondata dealer. Great power gains. Much better than the FK8 turbo. Read the comparison here.

Brilliant, but is this available in the UK on our already higher BHP than the American version?
UK stock is supposed to be 329bhp but mine is 345bhp and some are even higher.
Another 45 bhp would be fantastic.

@Hondata Also, what's the reason for the dip in the boost curve from ~3,600-3,800 RPM?
The way we use maximum boost to control engine output around peak torque and then air charge at higher rpm. Otherwise it would overload the fuel pump at maximum torque. Also the dyno would surge and clamp down just after peak torque, which is not so bad, but the ECU would also see torque was high and then reduce boost. My datalogs on the street don't show the drop, or at least it is much smaller.

Rev hang, yes.

VSA and other stuff, no. They are not controlled by the ECU.

We have not looked at the UK/Euro FL5 yet, but if it is like the FK8 then the tables are identical to the US vehicle but the power claims are higher. You'd have to ask Honda why this is...

Understood. Thank you for the explanation.

If I have a flash pro that I unlocked from my previous fk8 will that unit work? Just need to buy the license for fl5?

also any timeline or guesstimate on remote jailbreaking? I have my jailbreak unit from the fk8 also left. I’m in no rush to tune so if this is something you are working towards I’ll just wait until then

thanks

An unlocked FlashPro from a FK8 will lock to and program an FL5. There is no timeline for a remote jailbreak. It may not be possible.

Where does anyone get 104 octane gas? Not practical by any means.
They are just having fun with it. Wait until you see what they do next. ?
