yeah, well, I don't want to "individual" that noise....when I hit "+R" I want to hear the Car as Honda intended it :)

yea, but then you don't get the increased throttle sensitivity of Sport mode?
Engine mode is throttle sensitivity and the flap in exhaust
Engine sound is just the fake engine noise

The fake engine sound has kinda grown on me. It's still annoying in first gear, but when it's subtle enough it doesn't sound bad.

I don't know if it's the case on the FL5, but I know a lot of the other fake engine sounds are actually just piped in from the engine and made louder. If that's the case with the FL5, I don't mind it nearly as much since it's at least a form of feedback.

I've had that before in cars and it sounds terrible. When the CAR sounds awesome! Not sure the point at all.

Blame it on ol' Mary and Bob who hate the sound of loud cars in their neighborhood. Noise compliance is always the problem!

I don’t think there is any actual “pumped-in” sound from the car. I’m convinced it’s ALL fake…unless there’s a tiny cow in there with a microphone.

On the fl5 it seems like a track that just plays out of the speakers. Frankly, no engine in the world sounds that way. And it doesn’t sound good at all

It’s this super synthetic sound. Like a mix between an ice motor, 600cc bike and ev all in one.

Yeah, even the ELS system in my ‘08 RDX sounds way better than the FL5.
