Finally got around to swapping the Type R module to the Type S module. For me, it's a big difference in terms of how much better the car manages transitions in the pavement, bumps, etc. It's much more compliant, predictable and way less chaotic/bouncy. I feel more comfortable driving it hard because it way less rowdy. Also, much better daily driving experience. The only negative I am noticing is the initial turn in doesn't feel as darty/pointy as with the R module. Don't get me wrong, the car handles great with the Type S module, but something feels different on the turn in. Net, net however, I am enjoying the Type S module more. It's more comfortable and easier to drive hard. I did a recent ride back from Key Largo to Miami and the car was so bouncy with R module much of the ride and that was when I decided I got to take the Type S module out of the box and give it a shot. Glad I did!

After more than a few days driving the car with the ITS ADS module, I am very happy. The car is so much more composed and easier to drive hard. Also, it feels like the wheels are more in contact with the road. I recall Topher or Tedward mentioning this on one of their YouTube videos. That the Type R module was so bouncy they felt like the tires were not always in contact with the road.

I would def recommend this mod to anyone on the fence.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. I’ve finally hit break in and have had a chance to start pushing the car a little bit with the stock module (I’ve kept the ITS module sitting in a box ready to install). I agree that the car does bounce a bit and it would be nice to have a softer, more compliant setting. My worry is losing out on steering sharpness but maybe that’s the compromise I’ll have to live with, unless there’s some other configuration (springs, tires, etc) that achieves better compliance while also maintaining the sharper feel. Guess only one way to find out.

The steering still sharp. I changed the setting to Comfort for steering with the ITS module. One thing I like with the ITS module is I feel the wheels more through the steering wheel. Also, the rebound on the dampers is not so much softer, but less exaggerated and more what you're anticipating so it just feels more natural and fluid. Makes hard driving easier to do. More confident. With that said, I need to be careful with my driving as of July 1, Florida has a new "super speeder" law. Up to 30 days jail immediately if caught doing 100 mph on any road or 50 mph over the speed limit.

I think Savagegeese found the ITS’s steering to be just as sharp as the CTR’s…if not slightly better (depending on the road/track). The only thing that’s toned down a little bit is the road feel feedback, which is a trade-off for a bit better predictability and less bounce and jitters. Keep your CTR module handy, tho. You might want to swap it back for certain occasions.
