  1. DSC Sport Controller Suspension Module

I swapped to the ITS module months ago and I am very happy with that set up. I am sure the DSC module is good upgrade if you're tracking the car. One thing I will say is I have been riding my motorcycle pretty much all the time and not so much driving the CTR. With that said, I had to take...
  2. Steering wheel vibration at hwy speeds (intermittent)

Sux that you had to have a specialized shop fix the issue and it cost you $300. However, the dealer would've probably got it wrong and you would have had to go back a couple of times and then they would've messed up one of your rims. So in the end, you got a better outcome even though cost you...
  3. Worm Gear recall gone wrong..

Sorry to hear this story. Brutal experience. Fortunately, in the end the problems have been corrected so you can enjoy the car. Obviously, you have another problem as to where to take your car for future service.
  4. Worm Gear Recall Fix Reviews

Take it to a suspension shop and see if they can diagnose it. Then you can take it to the dealer and show them exactly what is wrong. A good suspension shop will be able to find the problem and will point it out to you while its on the lift so you can photo/video the issue for the dealer.
  5. Worm Gear Recall Fix Reviews

Definitely can hear it. How the dealer doesn't hear it is crazy. Sounds like the steering gear is skipping or slipping, but I think you would feel that in the steering wheel. Maybe a ball joint or tie rod or a suspension component. I get your frustration. Dealers are mainly only good at oil...
  6. AC screen problem

Go to your local Honda Parts dept and see if there's a replacement part that can be ordered. The pics look like the clear plastic cover is cracked and chipped. Crazy a foam cleaner, brush and microfiber towel did that. I wonder if it was cracked previously and you just noticing it now after...
  7. Rust on frame welds and scuffs on metal

That don't look right to me. I never look under my car so I don't know if mine has this as well. Nonetheless, I would send those pics to your dealer, then get them to put the car up on the lift and do a walk around with them. Doesn't look right.
  8. FL5 I money shifted twice....

I would say what's done is done. Drive the car and deal with any issues when/IF they even arise. My gut tells me any issues would have already presented themselves if in fact you experienced a true "money shift". My guess you over rev'd a bit and avoided anything serious by quickly...
  9. Any solution to fix these green lines on the screen? It randomly happened today, tried to turn the car off and then back on but didn’t do anything.

I think you can hold down the power button to the radio for a certain amount of time and it will reboot the system. Maybe give that try. You can likely search youtube or google "reboot" Honda Civic entertainment system.
  10. Wish me luck

Shouldn't be an issue. The dealers have done this fix on so many Civics already. They did my worm gear fix and rotated the tires in like 45 minutes. The steering will probably feel noticeably lighter and "consistent" throughout end to end lock out. Also, "clicking" should be gone...
  11. Worm Gear Recall Fix Reviews

Mine has been problem-free since the recall. No "stickiness" and feels fine driving hard or slow.
  12. Slight ticking/clicking noise when turning right

You can search you vin on the internet or open your honda app to see if you're subject to a recall. Mine is a 2024 so older than yours. If you only hear it when the driver's window is open, I am wondering if its the "ticking" window molding on the driver's side. If its a rock stuck in the...
  13. Slight ticking/clicking noise when turning right

It could also be the worm wheel gear that was recalled. I had a slight clicking at slow speeds, like parking, that went away when I had the recall procedure completed on the worm gear. Also, there is a "ticking" noise on the driver's side when the car in direct sunlight. The tick under...
  14. Long commutes

Well then, you're good to go! With the ITS module I can drive the car all day and really enjoy it. Spirited, but also much more compliant even in Sport Plus compared to the Type R module.
  15. Long commutes

One thing I would suggest if you're going to daily drive the car that much is get the Acura Type S dampening module. I recently installed mine and for me transformed the driving experience. The module is about $200. Easy to do. There's a youtube video that guides you through the install...
  16. Long commutes

I used to have one of those commutes when I lived up north. It grinded on me over the years. One bad night of sleep or late night out after work and the next day drive felt very long! LOL! I now have a 5 mile commute roundtrip. I mainly ride my sportster to the office now.
  17. Acura Integra Damper Module

The steering still sharp. I changed the setting to Comfort for steering with the ITS module. One thing I like with the ITS module is I feel the wheels more through the steering wheel. Also, the rebound on the dampers is not so much softer, but less exaggerated and more what you're...
  18. Acura Integra Damper Module

After more than a few days driving the car with the ITS ADS module, I am very happy. The car is so much more composed and easier to drive hard. Also, it feels like the wheels are more in contact with the road. I recall Topher or Tedward mentioning this on one of their YouTube videos...
  19. Acura Integra Damper Module

Finally got around to swapping the Type R module to the Type S module. For me, it's a big difference in terms of how much better the car manages transitions in the pavement, bumps, etc. It's much more compliant, predictable and way less chaotic/bouncy. I feel more comfortable driving it hard...
  20. CW rear bumper color mismatch - So common! Did you ever notice?

I believe a "flexing" agent is added to the paint for the bumpers so the paint doesn't crack easily if a light bump happens to the bumper. Also, plastic and metal gonna reflect paint differently. This is why I don't like Corvettes. The paint never looks as bright as it would on a car with...
