I think here is why this shifter is more quiet than fk8 and HR, the spring sleeves makes it feel ruubbery, it is quiet when you shift and honestly I dont like it, I will most likely return it and keep HR and to be honest that was not my plan but I was expecting more from acuity. (See description from acuity) I think that explains why I was I wanted to edplain when I say less mechanical than acuity in my fk8 or than HR.

Well, demand is quite high and sold out mostly everywhere so I’m sure you can make a quick and easy sale on here with no issues.

I just removed my acuity shifter and re-installed the hybrid racing in the shortest throw setting and love it, if someone wants my acuity let me know I can cover shipping expenses via USPS priority and can ship as soon as I get payment (same day)

NOT for sale anymore, will return the shifter to acuity; Acuity its a great company with great products, it just did not work for me with this shifter however I think most people will be very happy with it, specially if you have not tried an aftermarket shifter before or if you like a more stock feel with improvements in adjustability and a short throw; acuity provided me with a very good explanation on why they designed the shifter this way.

Finally have the shifter in! Had to wait for a replacement lower shifter mount bracket since the bolts for the stage 2 base bushings stripped and didn't want to come out with an bolt extractor. I'll have to try and remove the bolts carefully later, I don't want to damage it.

Going from the stage 2 kit to the full assembly is very much night and day since the assembly is fully adjustable. The spring that comes standard on the assembly almost feels stiffer than the stage 2 kit even though they're the same 50% increase, probably just needs to break in. I really like the adjustability to shorten the throw, height, gate and spacing. Currently I have each setting set at 2, and the base in position B and I'm liking it so far. As others have said, shifting is a bit quiet, probably due to the insulated ends on the springs, but definitely a worth while upgrade for those still on the stock shifter, or find the Stage 2 kit lacking. If you have the Hybrid Racing Shifter or the KTuned Shifter there probably is no reason to change.

Got mine today. Acuity got it here quicker than expected. They were waiting for more bases. They told me it would ship on the 18th and after reaching out to them they said it would ship the 12th. It ended up shipping on the 11th. Good news for resellers and anyone with an Acuity backorder. They should have more units going out.

Got my shifter installed within 45 mins of receiving it from UPS. I am a pro at taking apart the center console at this point. I went stock - stage 1 acuity - hybrid shifter - stage 1 acuity - acuity shifter. I love this assembly. I liked the hybrid but it was a little too hardcore for my daily driving. Stage 1 was almost perfect but still didn't really like the slop and the vague feeling gates. This is much more snappy, solid, and decisive. I have the adjustments close to stock so it’s in the Goldilocks zone for me between stock and Hybrid racing. Huge fan of the 2-3 shift and 5-4.

May try the stiffer spring, anyone have it installed?

Installed mine this afternoon during lunch and it is everything it claims to be. Extremely happy with the product. Instructions were top notch as well.

I have the high rated spring installed. If you thought the hybrid racing shifter was hard core then it's prolly not for you.

The acuity kit is awesome! 5th gear easy. I have the height at the lowest setting, gate spacing in the middle, shift throw at 4, and I believe I mounted it in position b. You'll love it.

Great! But Is it easy to find 5th? Or do you find you hit or push into the lock out above reverse instead?

I'm not sure how many ppl are going to be willing to go to that extreme. Sounds/looks interesting though.
