I have worked on all my cars but the hpfp on this car I dont want to mess with. Have to time the crank, and the intake manifold removal is necessary to do injectors and rail.

It takes longer to do the rail and injectors then to install the turbo and downpipe.
It really isn't that bad. I think I did mine in about 2 hours.

I think your best value for money is the canflex kit, a tune and an intercooler - maybe an intake airbox if iats are really a problem.

Going with a turbo means absolutely nothing for you currently.

With a fuel system and the Kuro, how much later is spool vs OEM turbo?

It varies based on setup but generally the kuro is just a few hundred rpm off the stock turbo to reach boost threshold. Barely noticable unless every absolute second counts

In addition to what this gentleman said. That is what makes the Kuro and Kuro+ so great! The power is tremendous for the smallest amount of lag you get in return. There is a reason those bad boys are backordered.

Check out this video to show what the kuro+ can do. Watch the videos in AHC Garage Playlist to understand the build. But this is power is possible with the lpfp, hpfp, injectors, kuro+, and canflex. Along with the other asserting supporting mods of course.

I usually tell people that if there is no plan to upgrade the fuel system, stick to the standard Kuro. But if you are willing to upgrade the fuel system, now or later down the road, the Kuro+ is a great option. See below for one of our early Kuro+ results (stock internals, stock clutch).
Not to thread jack, but I am planning for future upgrades with the supporting intercooler/downpipe/frontpipe. In my area I am limited to 91 octane. Can anyone let me know what the estimated WHP (on 91) is for the Kuro+ / Kuro regular with the fuel system upgrade?
I assume 15whp less than 93?

I think you are in the ballpark. I would not use the Kuro+ on 91 only.
