I just picked up a set of the Kumho V730's. I wonder how the Hoosier's will compare pricewise. The Kumho's run $900 for a set.
v730s are great for the price, but if competing, they are not the answer. A052, 71RS and probably now the Hoosiers would be the answer

I am betting they will last similar to 71RS and are priced similarly too. The v730s are priced amazing. I will pick some up after the Hankook R4s are cooked, these things don't wear out lol, hoping the v730s are similar but better grip. Are the v730s asymetrical? The R4s aren't and that sucks. I wish i could just rung Re71s all the time, they are fantastic and I bet these Hoojies will be similar, maybe I will treat myself next season

The conti ECF can be flipped in dry weather for what it's worth per continental. Slightly more than the v730 with trackdaytire code.

The V730's have an "inside" and "outside" designation. So asymmetrical for sure.

You can always see what are the competitive tires by seeing what people run at the SCCA nationals. For some of us, we need to account for driving to the track, lap times and wet condition capability.

I’ve been running Bridgestone tires and the latest purchase Potenza Race is sticky but it doesn’t look like it will last long and it is way too expensive. Won’t be buying ever again.

I really like the V730 - well known and excellent pricing. BUT I don't want to swap wheels at the track. The thought of driving on V730 in the rain made me ? Now, ECF could be the same have not had to do it yet. But the internet (lol) said they're slightly better than the V730s..

For me, lapping, the best bang for the buck is Goodyear supercar 3....without the r. Using size: 245/40r18. With a 20 percent off coupon, $250 rebate and 4 percent cash back, it comes out to $560 a set (4 tires), mounted.

My go fast tire of choice will be Supercar 3r. Running 265/35r18. Mainly again due to its performance to price ratio.

18x9.5 works for both.

yeah they are sketchy in the rain, and that's being nice. RE71RS are actually very good in the wet and even cold and wet conditions.

I moved the booster to the high beams so now I don´t have to shift with my left hand lol.

For some reason Honda put the high beam signal in a CAN frame that can be found on the ecu.

I´m now running stupids amount of power on the booster with hopes to find the perfect moment for that "too soon junior" look

just looked into this and yeah just saw some video of a guy spinning the car going straight in the rain with the v730s. mmmmm might have to re consider the tire since I also like to drive the tire tot he track and I will admit that sometimes I get lazy and don't swap out wheels btw events lol
