Yea that's what I mean it's just a random rating if they are over powered they'll get banned I bet for series requiring a 200tw. Hoosier is putting them slightly under the R7 for whatever that's worth.

I believe SCCA Time Trials has some limits on starting tread depth

looks like a A052 competitor, quick lap, but no endurance.

I like Hoosier being from the Midwest and I also like Continental so I am hopeful they are successful here. And offer more than just a few sizes that seems to have tripped up more than one manufacturer in the past.

Kumho are priced aggressively. The Hoosiers in 275/18 is around $1,400 a set on tire rack

Depends on if they last. You track a lot so longevity plays a role unless you want to buy a new set every season.

If I got 6-8 weekends plus my daily duties out of a set at $1000-$1200 I'd be very happy. Figure 3-4k road miles
