Was the CRV hybrid for you or your wife?
It would have been my wife's daily driver and our club-soccer hauler. The CTR is now her daily driver (although she lets me drive it quite a bit) and our 2018 Accord has become the club-soccer hauler.

That's pretty cool! I assume you drive the Accord?

Wish my wife would drive a fun car I could borrow from time to time. She drives an Ascent instead and that's our family hauler.

Yep. The Accord is mine - 2.0T Sport 6-speed MT - most fun you can have in a spacious family sedan. It used to be the fun car. It is still great to drive and has some cavernous interior space (awesome for road trips) - but it can't compare to the fun of the CTR.

I was able to snag a 2024 boost blue at the end of this past March for $800 under MSRP (no dealer add-ons aside from doc fees). The dealership (supposedly) had a number of sales fall through and seemed very motivated to get it off their lot before the beginning of April. I made an aggressive offer and they took it.

Do you guys think under MSRP will be more prevalent in normal market demand areas?

I have been waiting for a nearby MSRP dealer to call me when they have a white one incoming. In the meantime, another dealer that said they would not budge off $3k ADM will now sell at MSRP.

Just bought one w/o check here, looks like mine is not a good price.
$51.7k OTD in NJ, 6.625% tax.
$799 doc fee, $7.5 tire tax, $376.5 registration. Based on these numbers, I paid $1033.19 over sticker price.
I used 2 days to briefly talk to 3 dealers and made the purchase.

$50,457 Boost Blue, OTD. Gerald Honda, Matteson, IL. There was a "protection" package consisting of wheel locks, door edge film, and other stuff, they waived the $999 since the sales guy (Tom Hayden) said they just wanted to sell at MSRP and get it off the showroom floor. Jim

Got mine for $50k OTD (all taxes and fees included). Called about 80 dealerships. Told them all the same thing, "I'm ready to buy a Type R. Willing to pay $50k OTD. Talk to your sales manager and if you are willing to do the deal, call me back" Superior Honda in Orangeburg, SC called me back and sold me their Type R for $50k OTD. The next day, a dealer in Ohio called and agreed to the same deal but I had already agreed to the sale with Orangeburg. Today, two months later, you could probably get a dealer to bite for a $49k OTD deal...

I got mine for $750 off a few weeks ago in Ohio. It’s a new 24’ SGP. The dealer wanted it gone I guess as they were sitting on it for a couple of weeks ?‍♂. Someone backed out before it arrived.

In central or middle west most likely you can get better price. In NJ dealer still asks for +$5000 at the beginning.

$49,367 OTD - MSRP with zero add-ons/ADM from western PA. Truly an awesome buying experience and would do it again.
