Just coming from previous SI and fk8 ownership, they see engine related mods and they won’t do any work if damage is done. Intercoolers have even alerted them to saying they won’t cover if issue arises. I haven’t personally had engine issues yet, just saying they make snarky comments of how they won’t cover if any issue arises.

What are they saying?

I believe @JDM_DOHC_SiR got his Jailbroken at one of the CA events. He can probably provide perspective on what to expect. Not sure if he actually flashed the car though.
Having the car Jail broken was very straight forward when I had it done in person took only about 30 mins tops. As for being flashed, I have the car currently flashed and the and I can give you a few impressions on a few things,
#1 Drivability is fantastic compared to stock on the included Flashpro tune increased torque and the car is much eager to pull towards redline. Good overall power increase but you get use to it rather quickly :hmm:

As of now I have been using the TSP Stage 1 flash from them and let me tell you that makes this car a whole other beast! Loads of powered everywhere and this tune really throws you back in your seat and you have the ability to roast tires if you want to as well… Now one of the good benefits I have seen over the standard Hondata tune is that my gas mileage has increased lose to 2 miles per gallon over the mileage I would normally get (27 combined ) and this is with me driving more aggressively as well.:drive:

Does your NLS work with the TSP Stage 1 tune?

That's too bad. Seems they would have a lot to say about the exhaust you have. Hondata seems safer than any other modification since they can't "see it" without expending energy to try and find it. Let us know if you decide to proceed with Hondata. Seems many were excited for its release; however, only few took the plunge.

Any of y’all want to come up here for this, hit me up. I’m on the fence, but if a couple of you do it too, I’ll get off the fence pretty quick. ?

No Lift Shift. Basically say accelerator foot down to the floor, keep it there, clutch in, shift to next gear, and stay on the accelerator the entire time in boost.

Question for anyone that knows. If I ride with a friend and I just have my ecu with me (not car, I’d take it out of car) can Hondata still Jb it or does it need to be in the car while they’re doing the tour ?

doesn't need to be in the car. It's how the do the mail-in.

BTW The mail in process is fairly quick. I dropped it off Tuesday Afternoon next day UPS, I had the ECU back Thursday Morning as they sent it FedEx Next Day priority.

Ya I just wasn’t sure if the setup would be different since they’re not at their home base. Regardless thanks for the input. I may just do that for now.
