Everywhere I reach out the markup is 15-20k…. On the verge of giving up.

I did a while back. Just landed a new job and need a car so figured I'd give it one more shot, the prices are worse now than they were 6 months ago which wild considering how much interest rates have gone up.

I can't imagine what some of these peoples car payments are like.

There is without a doubt going to be repossessed Type Rs in the near future, unfortunately.

Sold and auction and listed for 65K for the next fool, lol.

I still can not wrap my head around anyone who paid that.

I found one for 8k ADM but I’m not willing to pay that either. Believe it or not the first time I had reached out to dealers a couple months ago I found a $4500 ADM but wasn’t ready to purchase at the time as I was recovering from a leg injury. Who knew that deal would be so difficult to replicate.

Give it a couple months, once the Type S hits dealers in June that should put some pressure on the dealers to drop prices.

TLX Type S is 55k no way the Integra will be over 50k. Rumor is mid 40s so 46-47

A few have gotten 3ish K over, but that is
Seems a little pricy to me. I was figuring around 48k

I think you are right, prob 48-49K MRSP with 15K starting ADM.

TLX is 57-63k, plenty of wiggle room for Acura to market the Intregra 5-7k less....won't be under 50k

$8k ADM? If you want a R I'd jump on that IF you are planning on keeping the car, over the lifetime the increase vs the desired (LOL) ADM becomes fairly inconsequential IMO. I was firm at $5k and realized I wasn't going to find one for 6-12mos at best at that rate, I keep cars a long time (10-20yrs) so I decided that $3k over 10yrs is $300/yr and I'm willing to toss that on the bonfire to make it happen.

If you like to get new cars often, avoid ADM as it's hard to make up - even on the CTR - but be prepared to wait a long time or buy your 2nd or 3rd choice.

I think a lot of people have moved away from the brand for this reason. It's def leaving a very salty taste in peoples mouth, which is unfortunate as Honda is loosing some life long customers that were loyal to the brand.

I don't think people are thinking about this the right way. These cars are very hard to find already, meaning those with them are mostly Honda fans who appreciate the Type R name and have been tracking these for the past year.

Once you see these cars start popping up on the streets all the Average Joe's are going to start looking for them, likely making them even harder to find. As pointed out by everyone, this is a tamed down FK8 in terms of appearance so there will be a whole new market for these that did not exist with the FK8.

There were ADMs on the 4 year run of the FK8, I don't understand how people didn't expect there to be one for the FL5.....
