People still pay ADM???
Yes and it all depends on the location. You can purchase one for MSRP from a random state where 99% of people on the road don't even know what a Type-R is, but somewhere like Cali is a bit tough getting the car at MSRP so most end up paying at least $2000 over which to me isn't a big deal. The dealer wanted $5000 over for mine back in March of 2025, but we settled at $2500 over. The FL5 moves pretty quickly here in Cali when the ADM is under $5000.

Yeh. I paid MSRP in November of 2023 in Raleigh, NC. I think I see one FL5 a month to but this is also isn’t the boonies.

Dang that's great! MSRP in March 2023! I remember seeing $20k ADM on the 2023 models.

Not telling you guys what to do but one thing that's easy is to find a car in a random State that's not too far and is accessible do the deal over the phone fly and drive the car back. Enjoy the time and the break in on your drive.

it’s not worth it imo if the adm isn’t much more than the transport fee. I also like to inspect and test drive any car I buy. So factor in flights and hotel it makes less and less sense.

Yep. $5k ADM was considered quite reasonable in 2022/2023. That has held true as MSRP continues to increase and dealers are still getting away with some ADM and/or “mandatory” add-ons in most cases. Congrats to those who have gotten their cars at MSRP and ZERO add-ons!

There’s always that option, but everyone’s pocket sit differently. Some don’t mind paying a little over MSRP and some do. The way I see it, I would still spend money on gas, food, etc just to get the car back and put a bunch of miles at the same time so I can feel better in my head that I paid MSRP. If I really wanted an MSRP deal, I would just have an enclosed trailer bring it back which again cost money so that’s why to me paying the small ADM was the best option because I was able to see the car in person and drive it back home in 15 minutes.

Adm is still going on in SoCal for sure.
It ain’t that bad. Last I heard Pasadena Honda wanted $2000 over sticker for their boost blue. That’s a good starting point, but I think they were pretty firm on it. Someone is going to walk in and buy it if you don’t that’s why they don’t care and they’ll sit on it for a bit. It’s just a matter of days and short coming weeks before it moves.
