I’ve been on the fence on getting the Acuity shifter. I wish someone around me had one I could feel before I took the plunge

mods are done results are in on the so called "heartbreaker" dyno in my home town.
Changed to imperial for you Americans!

At the crank
350hp @ 5600rpm (261kw)
378 lb ft from 2900-4000rpm (512nm)

At the wheels
313hp (233kw)
340 lb ft (461nm)

Need access to a hub dyno I think as the car was moving about too much.

I dig it. Looks real clean in the back. Just remember, that spoiler isn’t some ornament. The shit is actually functional. If you’re ever gonna be competitive consider slapping it back on. 👍🏽
appreciate it. I do understand looks are subjective and to each their own.

In no way shape or form am I trying to troll here but I genuinely am curious on the dynamics and data behind the wing? I mention this because if the ITS which is our counterpart is able to achieve higher HP numbers with a simple tune of the exhaust and keep up with the CTR, wouldn’t that mean then the wing is a specific use case scenario that 80%+ of the average owner will not subject their vehicle to?

No, got it fucked up. Respectfully speaking

the its is faster because the tune is different. More timing and like 2psi of boost less. As a result temps (post intercooler) don’t get as challenged (allegedly, I’ve never seen the data on this). Also the front bumper on the s lets in way way more air vs the r’s front bumper too (allegedly)

according to that “almost documentary” the type s was only allowed low speed aero. While the fl5 has a combination of high speed and low speed aero. The only reason the type s and r literally run the same exact times when on the same tires is because the type s is making up for its softer suspension and lack of high speed aero with sheer brute power. That tiny bit of extra power is what allows the type s to run doors with the type r on any track.

fl5 spoiler is a high speed aero piece. It (just looking at it and its angle) looks like it doesn’t do much till you’re at least doing 70mph. Maybe 60.

Nothing too cool or special, but I’m one of those people who’d rather have the phone mounted than sliding around in the wireless charger. I’ve run this same OFFROAM mount in my Tundra TRD Pro and both of my Raptors, and it’s always been rock solid. No shaking off-road, even on rough trails. So far, it holds just as tight in the Civic.

I only needed the mounting base because I already had a few phone mounts lying around.

For anyone looking for a solid phone mount, I highly recommend this one. The only reason its not in my other vehicles is because they dont make one for it!

APR Diffuser installed! Definitely one of the most expensive of all the diffuser options, but it builds on the OE's design versus being a full departure, which is what I wanted. Full Dry Carbon also adds cost, but the benefit is that it only weighs 2.9lbs :)

I did lose access to the rear toe hook, which isn't important to me
