I know question is for the OP but I have had a couple of flaps so I will answer it.

I first had the FX3D design. Good price and they are nice, I don't love the mesh and how they don't run higher because I think it blocks too much of the brake out vents (not a problem for most), also feel like tons of crap got in between the fenders and fender liner (I think this was somewhat fixed).

I now have Sukeban minimal ones which are great to me. I prefer the material and lets me run whatever mesh I want for the vent, also nothing gets trapped btw the fenders and the liner. Its a pretty good product but its a bit expensive.

Its nice that all these fenders blend well, don't love the look but they can barely be seen. Definitely a must for these cars (and all cars really)

I'm running the FX3D v3, maybe 3,1. I didn't post the brand because I didn't want to seem biased.

Funny because I used to have Sukebans Design flaps when they first came out a year and a half ago, I had the ventilated cut outs, since the minimal version wasn’t even a thing.

But now I’ve upgraded to FX3D’s newest design (version 3.1) which’s solves one of the problems I didn’t like with Sukebans, lots of rocks still ended up in between the guard and the fender despite being flush with the fender. Though Sukebans was a more durable plastic, it started to fade over time and didn’t feel like repainting them and it was kind of an eyesore despite being minimalistic in size.

haha that is funny and yeah I can see how the full flaps will be full of rocks, the minimals get little if any in there and very easy to remove. The FX3Ds will probably still have some even in this new design, I had done a little spacer on v2 and still had some rocks in there. I mean they all functions well which is all it matters. Hopefully sukeban has changed the material so it does not fade as much, my car is garaged so probably will take. a while to see fading but we will see, so far I am very happy with them (I was happy with the 3DFX too though minus how much it blocked the out vent (would have still had them if they did not block it as much, the v3 blocks even more with the TYPE logo in the middle)

Are those the ones that poke out a lot? I think those stick out way too much and doesn’t tapper cleanly to the fender. I know looks are subjective, but i’m running flush fitment with my wheels and to me it would look odd when you have mud guards aggressively poking out way more than your wheels/tires. It’s giving that Subaru/Rally vibes.. but I guess people like that look! But not for me aesthetic wise. But probably has the best protection out there forsure for those who prioritize that over the way how it looks.

I did a review on the FX3D guards and started off quite Leary of them, only wanting the mesh to stop the rocks, but found the ability to mostly hide them and still protect some paint, won me over. Company is very responsive on this forum and keep on adapting their product with the help of users and feedback. I have no horse in the race but in this day and age, having some good customer service seems to be a rarity.

There is always these..... The good and bad news is that you have to DIY...but you can make them however you want to suit you preference. The design I made has so far protected the sides of the car from debris trying to come through the cooling ducts. If you have access to a woodworking bandsaw, $20 and some patience they aren't difficult to make.
