Will I need a tune immediately after installing a few bolt-on mods?

With the 17% discount PRL is running for 11th gen parts I figured now would be the best time to grab all the stuff I'm wanting from them. I'm looking to install the Intercooler (along with the charge pipe upgrade kit), High Volume Intake, Turbocharger inlet, and the Flexfuel kit, plus the Hondata upgraded LPFP. Will I need a tune as to not run lean after installing all of this? I'm looking at one of Phearable's tunes regardless but I'd like to know if it needs to happen immediately.

Also I'm a bit indecisive about the Flexfuel kit, is it worth it? There aren't a very large amount of gas stations near me that have E-85 at the pump, so if anyone thinks its not worth doing I'd like to hear about it.

You'll definitely need a tune if you get the flex fuel kit, but it may not be necessary at all depending on your power goals, and what you intend to use the car for. Looking at the other items you've listed, you shouldn't need a tune, though I would strongly recommend one to take advantage of the mods, and because the tunes are hilarious amounts of fun!

Up to the point of flexfuel you won't need a tune. Once you do flexfuel, tune is higly highly recommended. If you don't have e85 easily accessible, I don't think its worth it. Used to run e85 when there were barely any stations, you burn through fuel a lot quicker too so its a pain to drive far to fill up.

Turbo and fuel related changes require a tune. Everything on your list except the flex fuel kit will work fine without a tune. If this is your daily driver, I would highly recommend NOT going the e85 route.

Where should I get the tune from? Is phearable still any good or should I take it to a dyno?

Phearable and TSP have good safe tunes. If you are going for all out performance then do a custom tune. If you are newer to tuning and this is your daily driver I don't suggest a custom tune or an e85 kit for a little while. You might find a readily available pump gas tune with bolt ons is plenty fast and controllable especially considering it's a front wheel drive car. I had a Mazda Speed 3 almost to 400hp which led to some violent torque steer. The car became more scary rather than fun.

Yeah it didn’t take much to sway me away from e85. Like I said I was on the fence about it anyway.
I’m not necessarily looking for crazy power numbers, honestly I’m more so after the sound I’d gain by doing these mods but obviously I want to make sure the motor stays safe. Plus who can say no to more power?

I'd do the bolts on first, see how you like it, if you need a tune, go for it.

Yes, with the flex fuel setup. that’s exactly why I had a shop handle all the engine mods and get it dyno tuned on the same day.

You can't use the prl flex fuel kit on a FL5 with flashpro anyway.
