Where does this Tow Hook thingy go?

HI guys

We just purchased Hybrid Sport Touring and found this Tow Hook adapter thing in the trunk. I checked under the trunk mat and did not see any place where this would fit. Does anyone know where this should be stored? For now, I put it in the glove box as I don't want that thing flying around in case of an accident....

What I meant was where should I store it? I can't find any designated location to store it on the tools tray.

I doubt it's worth keeping this part.
If you need to be towed, tow trucks do it differently.

Seriously, there should be a cutout for it in the foam in the spare tire well.
