Hi everybody,
As you know, in cold winter time, remote start activates the rear window defroster and strong ventilation on the front windshield.
I would like to disable these functions.
I can't find anything in the user manual. Can you help me ?
Thanks
I wish you good luck with you new battery .
Has a test been carried out on the car's battery-powered circuit to confirm that no abnormal current is flowing when the car is stationary ?
There will always be a few hundred (?) milliamps flowing to power some of the car's circuits, but if there...
Or you have an accessory that continuously draws power and drains the battery. Have there been any electrical modifications to this car, such as an amplifier, speakers, or other devices?
I regularly read here, but not often, about battery problems experienced by American Honda owners.
I get the impression that this part is really different from those installed in Hondas manufactured in Canada.
Or Canadians Honda owners are not sufficiently present on the forum?

I regularly come across vehicles of all makes whose headlights seem too high.
If your car has never been modified (suspension, among other things) or been in an accident at the front, and you don't carry heavy objects in the trunk, there's no reason to adjust the headlights.
Road noise is difficult to reduce. Civics are not very well soundproofed.
I already replaced the original tires, which were not Goodyear, on a 2018 Civic with Michelin Defender tires, which are known for being quiet. I didn't really notice a difference that was worth the cost of the change...
I would make sure, if necessary given the car's mileage, that the transmission and engine oil had already been replaced. In the absence of verifiable confirmation, I would have this work done.
Google ;
The most common reasons a 2022 Honda Civic is leaking oil are oil system component failure and leaking engine gaskets.
Oil System Components: A worn or damaged oil pump or filter can lead to low oil pressure, resulting in inadequate lubrication and potential engine damage.

A higher oil density than recommended could lubricate the engine less, especially when starting.
Honda has always had a reputation for building excellent engines that can last hundreds of thousands of miles. They know what they're doing. I see no reason not to trust the manual's...
The photo of the car does not show that this cannot be the case. The condenser remains very well supplied with air.
I would not have installed the mesh in this location, which is the subject of #1.
Look how thin the links between the cells are. Arrow
My previous car a 2018 Civic
It has always seemed smoother after each oil change, regardless of the temperature.
And where I live, in Canada, it gets very hot and very cold. And I have always used 0-20 as recommended.
Your link do not work for me, it is because my country ?

Turning off the car is not as effective as disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes.
Have you made any modifications to your car that would affect the electronics?
