Tried cutting the plastic panel covering the rear tow hook. Made way too generous of a cut. Thank god it’s a $5 mistake. The EVS tow hook does look good.

+1 pics please. I have the spare part sitting around, I need to cut it too cuz its a pain in the ass to remove. I normally don't like tow hooks but the straps that are for sale are so damn expensive.

It’s not hard to remove if you have the prying tools. Look at the new part and where the tabs are. Pry the top 2 tabs and it will come off easily.

Changed oil for upcoming track weekend
Bleed brakes w ate type 200
Installed 27Won rear motor mount
Checked to see if rear sway bar was tight it's been making some noise RV6 bar and end links. Everything right still some clunking.
Installed FX3D rock guards front and rear

I used one that looks like a Y do it came off rather easily.

I attempted to make cuts on a new cover but when I went to the one I did yesterday to see where I can make smaller cuts I just don’t see much other than the top where I could have not cut as high to show the white panel. Otherwise, there’s not much to “cut less”. I actually need to cut a little more on the left.

The lower portion is where the wrench would go to tighten and the top needs clearance so the tow hook can rotate the thread into the stem.
