Good idea!
You're not missing anything with the Bose either. I'm pretty disappointed with it overall... there is so much road noise you can't hear any bass. It sounds pretty generic. Too bad these cars no longer have a dedicated head unit that you can upgrade.... it's all wrapped up in the computer.
Pleanty of bass using carplay and Spotify. ??

I had the rubbish OEM honda speakers upgraded to Infinity Primus speakers today (in Australia we don't get the BOSE but do get parking sensors and folding mirrors). The stock speakers were laughably bad. No bass or definition. Bang for buck the Infinity are really good and it has been a great upgrade.

While the door panels were off I aksed them to upgrade the sound deadning from the sticky black stuff that was under there doing nothing. They did two layers which will improve the sound quality and so far has improved the road noise. I know...weight, but it's worth it just to tone down the road noise in Australia with our coarse chipseal roads.

Big thanks to Protunes Car Audio.Really happy with the attention to detail. They did two layers of sound deadening and protected the car well.

Here's what the stock speakers and tweeters look like in case anyone is curious.

Newport and Huntington, not so much. Huntington has the occasional super car meet at the beach, but haven't really seen anything else. There's one in Anaheim for more 90s and older cars and the big one down in San Clemente that runs the gamut of classic cars to modern super cars and everything in between. Honda does one at the Collection Hall up in Torrance at their HQ every couple months. There's also a shop up in La Habra does its own Cars and Coffee, they have a coffee shop in their shop.

I'm sure there are also groups on FB that put stuff together, I've just never looked.

I have the same shift knob. I wished it was heavier or as heavy as the stock shift knob.

Same...I've actually thought about swapping it back but summer is around the corner and it gets way too hot here in Sacramento ?

I’m in so cal but only a couple of miles from the beach . I did notice the heat on the shift knob to but it cools off fast once you start rolling and kick on the AC lol. I like the looks and the feel to much to change it.

Nothing to exciting yet just gave her a quick bath and wiped down the engine bay. Probably go for cruise down the coast later after I finish my honey do list.
