My son is turning 3 next month. My wife would be watching him at WTGI and sometimes I bring my MIL or my parents along. It becomes a 5 day summer vacation. It works for WTGI because there is at least a town to walk around and a playground for my son. Doubt VIR had anything like that.

That sounds good to me! The more I think about it, it's going to be real hard for me to do that December tidewater event you were telling me about but May would be no problem.

Yes I think Danville is small and Roanoke is 2 hours away but is a larger city. Could be tough. But it's a beautiful part of the country for sure.

I haven't even been myself and I am only 3 hours away. We got too many tracks around here (blessed) so I have been to 4 that are within 3 hour drive, still have another 2 + watkins, next year for sure.

But VIR is on the list so I would love to come down. Road Atlanta I actually want to go even more to but its way too far, VIR is about 9 hours from me already I think thats my cutoff for a weekend thing, more than that I would need to do bring wife and dog and do a week thing. But it really depends on timing. Actually be pretty cool if we could do a full type R only day, I bet we could get a photog that does VIR days and come out with some cool pics

I’m cleared with the boss to do May 23-25. I’m not sure if I want to do all 3 days. But we shall see. Either way, I need to take an extra day on Thursday and Monday just to get down there and back.

I also sent an email to On track to find out about the lodging details.

I think if we can get commitments by February 1, 2025 it would be ideal.
