No I'm only on this forum. My JDM days started in the late 1990s and after purchasing an S2k in 2005, got properly involved on forums local and international. Club meets etc. I bought the FL5 typically for some track day fun. MY2023 and I've only done 5000 kms. I sold the S2k some years back and haven't been on any platforms since. How's the current JDM car culture? Which city are you in?

I don't want to put you off man. But I think there's a reason you decided to check forums before proceeding. Go with your gut. Even if there ordered it, you can just hold off until you feel comfortable.

In my case if I didn't have the ticking sound I wouldn't have pursued asking them about the recall until they called me. My luck for being proactive lol

S2Ks are special. Asking prices are through the roof when I last checked for well kept ones. I lost track for a bit as well, the FN forums and groups got quiet. Was more of a casual. But it seems the CTR scene is still alive. And the Honda scene in CT seems to be most active. I can't speak to other brands but there are JDM meets every now and then.

Son your FL comes out on special occasions , good mileage. My FL is a daily. If you're keen on joining the FL group drop me a dm. There's good advice and school fees paid lol. I'm based in Jhb (north ish), but the group has members from all over, but no pressure.

Yip. I've seen good 2005/6 examples sell for as much as 500k. We paid 365k brand new back in 2005.
