Took my CTR to Roebling Road on Friday. I couldn’t hang with the GT3RS or GT4RS, but the rest of the Porsches, Mustangs and Corvettes were all victims…. It’s fun being the underdog. Nobody expects a fwd econobox to be so quick.

I did have to back off a few times when water and oil temps reached my comfort level limit on a 95 degree day. Max observed was 225 water, 272 oil. I was hoping not to, but I may have to pursue some cooling upgrades.

Great time, Roebling is only about an hour from us. I could probably drive that car in my sleep at this point haha.

Whats you mod list? Anything under the 1:20 mark is fast there.

Track alignment and brake pads, mild tune, 275 18” Goodyear 3R. I found time in several places later in the day, but with the afternoon heat I couldn’t beat my earlier lap time. I still have a ways to go to catch up with the car’s previous owner….

BUMP. What's everyone been doing?!

I decided to grab a ticket to Gridlife ABCC - it's a new track for me, but it's pretty fun, albeit a little tricky to get right. @JST Performance (who just finished up a custom e40 tune for me via Cobb) is here as well with me and we are running pretty close together (he's running street mod due to his big boi turbo) - I have a bit more grip and he has a bit more power, but we are doing what we can to lay down some respectable times for the FL5s - he's running some new @COBB Tuning stuff too!

Here's my fastest lap from day 1 - this beat the class fwd lap record from last year by .8s, but unfortunately Aaron in an FK8 (who had the previous record) went 2s faster than his previous record so I need to find some time!

The @JST Performance e40 tune via @COBB Tuning was putting in work today at Gridlife at Autobahn CC! Brian and I remain on top of each other time-wise (he's at 1:32.3 - I'm at 1:32.5)- I have slightly more grip, he has slightly more power, but we are doing what we can! I need to get down to 1:32.1 (assuming Aaron in the FK8 doesn't improve) to clinch the fwd lap record - we'll see how tomorrow goes!

H2R is a fun little trick. Been a member here for a bit. I plan to do ECR in November for Chin. It'll be my first time there.
