Airport is def a reason we are moving. It's so frustrating to only fly to Chicago Dallas Atlanta or Charlotte. And always on tiny & expensive regional jets. ?

Thanks! I also realized I forgot my local track Putnam park south of Indy ? I need to check out Nelson ledges maybe pair it up with a day at mid Ohio.
Nelson used to be a bit sketch - I did my first track days and first endurance race there almost 15 years ago. It's an old school track with high average speeds and minimal runoff, and at that time, very unforgiving tire piles (tire walls would not be the correct term), but I think they've made improvements. I haven't been back in a long time.

NY has some sketch tracks too.

Look up NY Safety Track which has the best name for a not super safe track, the trees are VERY close. Its a moto track but they have car days.

I have to say though, it is very enjoyable to me, I went last year and was pretty fun technical track.

I would not say Palmer is sketch but there is no runoff and you are basically on the side of a "mountain", probably one of my favorite tracks

He ran a 2:10.7, on probably 275 ECF tires. 10.5" wide apex wheels, tune and lower and upper RV6 rear control arms With fortune 510 coilovers and PWR intercooler/ radiator

With something more sticky and say a downpipe for a few more ponies, 2:09s easily

How is 2:10? I have no real concept of times at VIR. I'm on same tires.

Thanks. I think it's easier to compare once you've actually run a track yourself. Until then it's hard to conceptualize.

I didn't realize he was on 10.5's until I watched his video, and I didn't realize that he had 400 ftlbs of torque! I was running around on 9.5's, and less torque.

I think there is a 2:07 in my car, but I'm too scared to go for it just yet.

For comparison I ran a 2:11.7 in an Elantra N on 245/40 71RS on 18x8.5" wide wheels with just a tune and camber and i believe a VN did a high 2:10 with just a JB4

What do we think of the triple pass radiator?
